ABOUT DIAMOND CUBS

Diamond Cubs Enrichment Program serves early learners through young adults in the DMV metropolitan area.

Diamond Cub’s mission is to give youth an opportunity to explore the city they live in and be discoverers of their community, while providing curriculum for enrichment and hands on field learning and recreation. Diamond Cubs Summer Camp is for youth and families who enjoys a mix of academic and artistic learning, exploration and field learning in a safe, nurturing and academically stimulating environment. Our objective is to engage all children and families in engaging and resourceful activities through exposure and discovery.

WHAT we offer:

Founded in 2012, Diamond Cubs Enrichment Program has offered many programs in the DMV metropolitan area that stimulates the growth and development of youth, families and educators. Diamond Cubs is staffed by a team of dedicated and knowledgeable, energetic professionals. Under the supervision of Diamond Cubs experienced adult staff, youth are exposed to new things, develop skills of interest, gain confidence and are engaged and encouraged in ways that will benefit their growth and development.

CURRICULUM

Our curriculum has been developed to meet the individual needs of each child on a thematic learning framework. We acknowledge that children frequently have differing abilities, we provide differentiated approaches to cognitive learning. Children will get small group and one on one instruction to support their personal needs. Our main focus is to engage, encourage and expose each youth. Our curriculum incorporates routine field trips in order to give all participants hands on learning and field experience.
